UN spokesperson's website hacked by anti-war slogans
The official website of the spokesperson for UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon was apparently invaded by hackers Saturday who tampered many webpages with an anti-war slogan.

Two statements that should have been on the webpage were replaced by four identical sentences apparently announcing that the hacking was a protest against Israel and the United States.

"That is CyberProtest Hey Israil and Usa don't kill children and other people Peace for ever No war," said the hackers, who only identified them as "kerem125 M0sted and Gsy."

The slogan also appeared on many other webpages, including those that should have displayed the UN chief's daily quote, his speeches and the deputy secretary-general's statements.

The website has been neither restored nor shut down, and the UN chief's spokesperson, Michele Montas, was not immediately available for comments on the mischief.
