U.S. Department of State has stated that the senior coordinator on Iraqi refugee issues would pay a visit to Turkey next week under his four-nation tour of the region.
A spokesman for the department said that James Foley's talks would focus on efforts to speed up Iraqi refugees arrival in the United States.
Earlier, the Washington administration said that it aimed at accepting 12,000 Iraqi refugees by the end of September.
Foley will also visit Syria, Jordan and Lebanon.
