The U.S. Department of State has said that they were going to continue to work with the Turkish government and that they worked quite well with them.
Sean McCormack, spokesman for the Department of State, said at a daily press briefing upon a question regarding the ruling of the Turkey's top court not to impose a ban of the ruling Justice & Development (AK Party) "I would just repeat what we've said all along, that we have confidence in Turkey and confidence in the Turkish people and their democracy. We're going to continue to - the court has rendered an opinion, and we're going to continue to work with this government. We work quite well with them."
"And we would also encourage Turkey to use this moment to reinvigorate its efforts with the EU. And I know that requires both sides, both the EU, to reinvigorate its efforts as well, to move forward on the basis of Turkey continuing its efforts at political and economic reform, based on Turkey's constitution and secular democracy," McCormack added.
