YSK announces election day bans
The Supreme Election Board (YSK) announced that on Sunday no alcohol will be sold and consumed from 6:00 a.m. until midnight. All public entertainment areas are to be closed and only those tasked with keeping the peace will be allowed firearms. On election day, all broadcasters will be prohibited from making any announcements or interpreting the results in any way whatsoever until 6:00 p.m. The results will be made public after 9:00 p.m., but the YSK can decide to make it one hour earlier.
