An exhibition on Ottoman carpets with Romanian heritage opened its doors in the Turkish capital of Ankara on Thursday.

The exhibition was made possible by Turkey's Yunus Emre Insitute and the Romanian Embassy in Ankara.

Participating in the inauguration of the exhibition, Turkish Minister of National Education Nabi Avci stressed that Turkish-Romanian relations would continue by getting deeper.

Romanian Ambassador in Ankara, Radu Onofrei stated that Turkey and Romania shared historic relations and they considered Turkey as a country with European culture.
