A photo exhibition on victims of land mine was opened Thursday in Bosnia-Herzegovina's capital Sarajevo.

The exhibition consisting of portrait of the victims was opened in Sarajevo's Farhadiye Street on the 3rd anniversary of proscriptive agreement of cluster bombs.

Coordinator of Mine Victims Association Ramiz Becirovic expressed hope that a similar incident would not appear again.

Becirovic said the exhibition was organized to attract attention to cluster bombs and other deadly weapons' damage. He also called on the international public opinion to treat the disabled people in a more sensitive and generous way.

One of the most mine-affected countries of the world, Bosnia-Herzegovina is estimated to have still nearly 200,000 land mines under the soil.
