Istanbul’s International Book Fair kicked off on Saturday in its 32nd edition at the TUYAP Fair Center in the city’s Beylikduzu district.
The TUYAP İstanbul Book Fair, the biggest of its kind in the country, serves as a venue for book lovers. The fair will be held this year from Nov. 2 to 10 with the theme of “History: The Future in the Past”. While academic-historian Taner Timur has been named as the fair’s writer of honor this year, China became the guest of honor, participating with over 100 publishing houses.
