At least 40 people were injured after a passenger train derailed in southern Pakistan on Saturday, officials and local media said.
The incident happened in Detha, some 250 kilometers northeast of Karachi, the country’s commercial capital.
The cause of the crash was still not known.
Rescuers rushed to the scene and evacuated the injured by cutting off the seats.
Doctors at area hospitals said several of the injured were in critical condition.
