Police shot dead a member of Jamaat-e-Islami on Thursday in Bangladesh.
Police said 2,000 supporters of the Jamaat-e-Islami, protested at a village in the western Jhenidah district after policemen tried to arrest Jamaat activists.
In clashes, one Jamaat supporter was killed, eight police were also injured.
