The ongoing violent incidents targeting the Arakan Muslim population in Myanmar were protested in the Belgian capital of Brussels.
A group protesting in front of the Myanmar Embassy in Brussels called for the end of the massacre against the Muslim population.
During the demonstration organized by the Belgium Equality Committee, signs reading “Don’t kill me, I’m just a Muslim” and “End Massacres” were carried.
Equality Committee spokesman Nordin Saidi told Turkish press, "We are gathered here today in solidarity with the Muslims massacred by the government in Myanmar. The Myanmar government wants the country to be entirely Buddhist.”
Indicating that they condemn the lifting of sanctions against Myanmar, Saidi said that such a move was a way of rewarding a regime which allows the murder of its own people.Last Mod: 04 Mayıs 2013, 11:29
