Azerbaijani presidental elections will be held on October 9.

Azerbaijan's Central Election Committee agreed on the date of October 9 for the elections.

Head of the committee Mezahir Penahov said that since October 16 fell on the Muslim Feast of Sacrifice, they decided on October 9.
