A whole town of 286 homes constructed by a Turkish association in Pakistan for people who became homeless after severe floods in 2010 was delivered to its new owners.

A whole town of 286 homes constructed by a Turkish association in Pakistan for people who became homeless after severe floods in 2010 was delivered to its new owners.

Ikbaliyah town, named after prominent Pakistani poet Mohamed Ikbal, cost 7 million dollars and was completely financed by Turkey's Kimse Yokmu Association in Muzaffargarh city.

Turkish MPs Afif Demirkiran and Ayse Turkmenoglu attended the ceremony of the delivery together with head of Kimse Yokmu Association Ismail Cingoz. 

A mosque, a market place and various facilities were built in the town to ease the new lives of Pakistani people in Ikbaliyah Town.
