Taliban fighters have captured two U.S soldiers south of Kabul, a Taliban official said on Saturday.

A Reuters correspondent in Logar, where the incident occurred, heard local radio stations broadcast U.S. statements offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to their safe release.

The NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) had no official comment on the reported incident.
