The Central Election Commission of Kosovo last night completed the certification of political entities for the upcoming local elections on 3 November.
On the list are total of 103 certified political entities with 7,932 candidates.
Among the certified entities are 33 political parties, 52 civic initiatives, 16 independent candidates and two coalitions.
Serbian political entities are recommended by the Commission for the registration of political entities to change the word "Serbia" from their name after what they got certified.
Citizens Initiative Serbia, supported by Belgrade, changed its name to Citizens Initiative Serbian.
Chairwoman of the Central Elections Commission Valdete Daka positively assessed the process of certification of political entities and stressed that the process confirmed that the elections will be held according to the law and rules of the Commission.
Local elections in Kosovo are scheduled for the 3rd of November this year.
