Two more alleged attackers have been detained for a racist attack against a Bulgarian citizen of Turkish descent in Bulgarian capital Sofia, after two others had been detained on Sunday.
Georgi Dimitrov, 28, working in Sofia Banya Basi Mosque, was attacked by five people on the anniversary of a racist party's foundation, and was taken to a hospital in critical condition due to a concussion.
Two of the attackers were detained after the incident, while the other two were detained on Sunday had criminal records for previous offenses.
The racist attackers are expected to be charged with attempted murder, while police is searching for the remaining attacker.
Dimitrov is still in a coma at Sofia Military Medıcal Academy.
MALIAN YOUTH STABBED
An 18-year-old man from Mali was stabbed Sunday night in Bulgarian capital Sofia, local television reported.
The Malian teenager, identifed as A.K, was attacked by racist groups in Sofia, according to private television channel TV7.
The number of racist assaults in Sofia has increased recently, with attacks generally carried out at night.
