A vehicle belonging to the EU law enforcement agency in Kosovo has been attacked, a city official has said.
The service vehicle of European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) was targeted with stones and petrol bombs by a group of masked men in the northern city of Mitrovica.
Besim Hoti, spokesman for the city's police department, said there were no injuries, but the car sustained material damage.
Kosovo police started a search for the perpetrators, Hoti said.
Meanwhile, another group of Kosovo Serbs blocked a main road between Mitrovica and its northernmost district Leposavic.
The group was said to be protesting the arrest of Jarko Veselinovic and Slobodan Repic, who were held by EULEX police officers last December.
Repic was arrested on accusations of shooting at a Mitrovica administrative official, while Veselinovic was detained for obstructing police during Repic's arrest.Last Mod: 30 Temmuz 2013, 14:25
