Wednesday evening brought snow fall in Tirana. The phenomenon was present in the capital of Albania as rarely and in many other cities also.

Thick snow caused for several hours many citizens to fill the streets and sidewalks to make a picture for fun and posting them on various social networks.

But snow also brought the first problems in the movement of vehicles, causing them to move with difficulty for several hours.

The heavy snow in the capital have brought the cancellation of some flights as departures and arrivals at the airport.

Wednesday across the country was occupied by the snow. Even in many cities where this phenomenon is not common even in the coldest days of winter snow fall off for some other time.

Last real snow held in Tirana was in 11 January 1985. After 32 years, today, 11 January 2017 falls back to Tirana.
