Here's how the map of Kosovo will look after territorial swap with Serbia

The French daily "Le Monde" has published two articles devoted to the subject of highly debated border correction, as well as the idea of how Kosovo will be in the wake of alienation.

The northern part of Kosovo with Serb municipalities Leposavic, Zvecan, Zubin Potok and North Mitrovica would pass to Serbia, while Kosovo joined Medvedja and Presevo Valley.

"Le Monde" emphasizes that if this exchange became a reality then this would be the first time that we talk of new borders outlined on an ethnic basis instead of the early administrative lines of the constituent republics or autonomous regions of the former Yugoslavia.

The paper underlines that the four Serb majority municipalities shown on the map are out of control. Residents there, according to her, do not pay taxes or electricity bills and in the 2012 referendum, 99.7% of them indicated they did not recognize the legitimacy of Pristina authorities.
