The mayor of the Croatian capital Zagreb, who was previously detained on allegations of "corruption and abuse of office," has been arrested again Tuesday.
The Zagreb Court ordered Milan Bandic's arrest on Tuesday after being charged by the prosecutor's office with attempting to influence witnesses in the case.
Bandic was sent to Remetinec Prison, in Zagreb after the court's decision.
Milan Bandic was arrested on charges of corruption and abuse of office in October 2014 and was released on a 2 million euro ($2.14 million) bail surety - a record in Croatia.
