SEECP foreign ministers meeting begins in Macedonia

A formal meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the South East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) began in the Macedonian city of Ohrid on Friday. 

Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Naci Koru represented Turkey in the meeting where foreign ministers of Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, Bulgaria alongside deputy foreign ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Albania, Kosovo, Moldova, Romania and Greece attended.

European Commissioner for Enlargement Stefan Fule, Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Lamberto Zannier and Secretary General of Regional Cooperation Council Goran Svilanovic also participated in the meeting.

The current situation in the region will be at the top of the agenda, while participants will also revise the EU perspectives of the countries in the region during the meeting.
