Journalists of the Turkic world will gather next week for a congress in Russia’s Tatarstan republic.

The congress, to be held in Kazan from May 26 to 29, will host around 100 journalists from 20 countries.

Aiming to bolster media cooperation between Turkic countries, the congress will be jointly organized by International Federation of Journalists and Tatarstan's TATMEDIA.

The Communication and Cooperation in Eurasia event, for which Anadolu Agency is the global communications partner, will conclude with the presentation of the Turkic World Media Awards.
