Four suspected terrorists were killed and one arrested in an operation in Azerbaijan, the country’s State Security Service said on Wednesday.
In a brief statement, the security forces said the group opened fire on officers with machine guns and pistols on Tuesday.
No further details of the incident were given.
The authorities said the suspects had planned to carry out attacks in the country.
