Nearly 2,500 Syrian babies were born in Turkey in refugee camps. Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Directorate (AFAD) stated on Friday that the number of Syrians in Turkey have reached over 180,000 for the last two years due to violence in Syria.
AFAD noted that these families had been staying in tent sites and container cities which were set up in several cities of Turkey.
Nearly 2,500 babies were born in these camps, said AFAD, adding that officials were meeting all needs of Syrian babies and their families.
