Benin's President Thomas Boni Yayi will pay a formal visit to Turkey as the guest of Turkish President Abdullah Gul between July 8 and 11.
Presidency press center stated on Saturday that it would be the first visit on presidential level between Turkey and Benin which declared its independence in 1960.
Presidents of the two countries previously met within the scope of the 4th UN Conference of the Least Developed Countries that took place in Istanbul in May, 2011.
Bilateral relations, recent regional and international matters will be high on the agenda of the meetings of Yayi in Ankara on July 9.
The two countries will also sign several agreements.
