Minister of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina Barisa Colak and Turkish Justice Minister Sadullah Ergin will sign two agreements on bilateral relations of the countries on Wednesday.

As minister Colak confirmed for AA, they will sign an agreement on extradition and also an agreement on mutual legal assistance in criminal issues.

Colak added that he expected these two agreements to pave the way of signing the agreement on recognition of foreign court decisions between the two countries, and their implementation as well.

"These are very useful agreements for both countries. Agreement on Mutual Legal Assistance refers to assistance in investigations into criminal offenses. As for the Agreement on Mutual Extradition, it refers to the mutual extradition of persons," he said.

Minister said that agreements will offer new opportunities of cooperation in various areas between Bosnia and Turkey.

"It is very important for both countries to define mutual relations in this field. Especially for easier detection of criminal acts and prosecution of those responsible," said Colak.

The arrival of Turkish Minister Sadullah Ergin in Bosnia is expected on Tuesday night. During his stay, minister will visit Mostar and Sarajevo. Turkish delegation is expected to visit High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council and Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
