German FM to hold talks with Turkish leaders

German Vice Chancellor and Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle will arrive in Turkey on Tuesday upon an invitation by his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu.

In a statement issued Tuesday, the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) said that Westerwelle's visit would make Turkish-German relations and cooperation stronger.

The two ministers will discuss bilateral relations, Turkey's EU process, Cyprus and exchange ideas on current regional and international matters, the MFA said.

Guido Westerwelle will be received by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
