Injured Libyan people have been brought to Turkey for medical treatment.

Forty Libyan people were taken to the western Turkish province of Izmir from Libyan city of Benghazi by a military plane.

Ibrahim Balli, deputy governor of Izmir, said that the injured Libyans would receive medical treatment at five hospitals in the province.

"None of them is in life-threatening condition," he said.

Earlier this year, 487 Libyan people were brought to Izmir for treatment.
