The Iranian vice president is expected to meet Turkey's President Abdullah Gul, and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erodgan and discuss ways to boost relations.

Iran's first vice president in Turkey for meeting

Iran's first vice president defined on Wednesday relations with Turkey as friendly and historical.

Mohammad Reza Rahimi said Iran and Turkey had perfect political, cultural and economic relations.

Rahimi's remarks came before he flew to Istanbul, Turkey on a two-day visit.

The Iranian vice president is expected to meet Turkey's President Abdullah Gul, and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erodgan and discuss ways to boost relations.

Turkish-Iranian Business Forum will take place in Istanbul on Thursday.

Erdogan and Rahimi, and executives of 32 leading companies of Iran including automotive company Khodro, are expected to participate in the forum.
