French newspaper Le Monde published an analysis on the foreign policy of Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Friday.
Le Monde described Erdogan as an unbelievable political talent and one of the most influential leaders of the Middle East.
Turkish Premier Erdogan was welcomed to Cairo, Tunis and Tripoli as the protector of the Arab Spring last week. Some accept Erdogan as an Islamist who reacted strongly against Israel while some others look at him as a leader loyal to NATO and one who wants his country to join the European Union (EU), said Le Monde.
Erdogan's Justice and Development (AK) Party developed freedoms in Turkey and, as such, has made Turkey a model to be adopted by Arabic countries, Le Monde also said.
