The Lebanese tourism minister expressed on Thursday his expectation to host at least 300,000 Turkish tourists this year.
Fady Abboud said that Lebanese-Turkish tourism improved after the two countries had lifted visa procedures.
"We expect at least 300,000 tourists from Turkey this year," Abboud told AA correspondent during a reception hosted on the 50th anniversary of establishment of Lebanon's
national news agency NNA.
Abboud also said 150,000 Lebanese tourists visited Turkey this year.
Anadolu Agency's Executive Board President and Director General Hilmi Bengi, Executive Board Vice-President and Deputy Director General Tahsin Akti and Executive Board member Resat Yazak were among the guests of the reception.
