Libya has received 6 of their riot control vehicles (TOMA) from a Turkish company. Under a protocol which was signed in September between Libyan Interior Ministry and Nurol, a Turkish machinery company, first set of TOMAs was delivered.
According to a statement released from the Undersecreteriat for Defense Industries, 20 TOMAs which Libyan Interior Ministry ordered are being manufactured by Nurol.
In accordance with the protocol, the first set of TOMAs was delivered to Libyan officials with a ceremony held on Thursday.
Delivery of 20 TOMAs will be made in 3 sets and the last delivery will be completed in May.
Within the framework of the program, the personnel of the ministry will receive user and maintenance training at Nurol's facilities in Libya.Last Mod: 28 Şubat 2013, 11:50
