Mauritian Foreign Minister Arvin Boolell has called on Turkish businessmen to invest in his country.

Turkish businessmen can be partners with the whole African continent by the investments they make in Mauritius, said Boolell who attended a meeting in Istanbul on Wednesday.

We are willing to make partnerships with Turkey to assess the opportunities between the two countries, he said.

Boolell said that Mauritius had advantages for investors in the aspects of predictability, reliability and certainty.

He said that there were big potentials in tourism, eco-tourism, agriculture, information and communication technologies, real estate and renewable energy sectors in Mauritius, adding that the country was rich in its sea resources, oil, natural gas and fishery.

Turkey exports products worth of 44 million USD to Mauritius. The export of Mauritius to Turkey is 4.5 million USD.
