Turkish President Abdullah Gul and his Egyptian counterpart Muhammad Mursi on Thursday held a joint press conference in Cairo after a tete-a-tete meeting and a meeting between respective delegations.
Speaking at the press conference, President Mursi underlined that their perception of regional and international problems were the same as Turkey's.
Turkey and Egypt approach regional and international problems with a similar stance, Mursi underlined.
"We are working with Turkey to end the bloodshed in Syria," Morsi noted.
"The most important issue on Syria has to do with stopping the bloodshed immediately. This is crucial for us and we hope to be successful in that regard," Mursi stressed.
Touching on Turkish-Egyptian business ties, President Mursi underlined that Turkish businesspeople must take advantage of the opportunities that Egypt presents.
