Turkish President Abdullah Gul was welcomed by Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari at a formal ceremony in Islamabad on Wednesday.

Gul and Zerdari later had a tete-a-tete meeting.

The two presidents will hold joint news conference after co-chairing talks between the delegations of Turkey and Pakistan.
