Polish aircraft violates Turkey's air space over Aegean, army says

A Polish aircraft violated on Friday Turkey's air space over the Aegean, Turkey's General Staff said.

A statement posted on the General Staff web-page said a Polish M-28 aircraft, which took off from Kos island of Greece, violated Turkish air space over the Aegean province of Aydin three times early on Friday.

The statement said the Polish aircraft violated the Turkish air space for a total of 11 minutes.

The General Staff has notified the violation to the Foreign Ministry, asking the ministry to take necessary steps.

Also, Greek M-2000 jets intercepted Turkey's F-16 jets, which were making training flight in international air space over the Aegean Sea, in the southwest of the Greek island of Chios and Greek F-16 jets intercepted those of Turkey's in the south of Greek island of Limnos.
