A presidency for Turkish citizens and relative communities living overseas has been formally established with the publication of a related law in the Turkish Official Gazette on Tuesday.

The new presidency will conduct works to benefit Turks living overseas and find solutions to their problems.

The new presidency will conduct activities to promote social, cultural and economic relations between Turks and relative communities in the world. The presidency will also be involved in activities to protect Turks and relative communities from discrimination, assimilation and xenophobia.
