Investigation into murder of US citizen Sarai Sierra in Istanbul still continues. According to information taken from Istanbul's Gayrettepe public security officials, about 260 police officers scan surveillance cameras in order to get more clues regarding the murder of Sierra.
Officials said, the investigation continues and the crime scene investigation team will carry on with their surveys on Monday too.
They added, Sierra's earrings, rings and watch were not stolen however her iPhone and iPad were not found.
So far police questioned about 22 people regarding the case of US citizen Sarai Sierra who was found dead in Istanbul on February 2.
Sierra's e-mails are being searched as well.
Over the weekend, Huseyin Capkin, head of Istanbul Security Department, stated, US citizen Sarai Sierra died of a head trauma.
Capkin told reporters on Sunday that the report of Forensics Department was not ready yet, but it was certain that Sierra was killed by a blow in the head.
33-year-old Sierra had been missing since January 21, and her body was discovered in Istanbul's Fatih district near the remains of ancient city walls in Sarayburnu on February 2.Last Mod: 04 Şubat 2013, 11:07
