The Kremlin said on Wednesday that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkey's President Tayyip Erdogan held a phone conversation and shared their opinions on the Syria crisis in light of ministerial meetings in Vienna last week.

The two presidents exchanged views on the situation in Syria following the ministerial Support Group meeting in Vienna on October 30.

"Putin and Erdogan discussed bilateral cooperation matters, including preparations for the next meeting of the High-Level Bilateral Cooperation Council, which will take place in Russia in December.

"The two leaders reiterated their readiness to continue the political dialogue and the efforts to develop mutually advantageous trade and economic cooperation," Kremlin's statement said.

Both sides agreed to hold a bilateral meeting during the G20 summit in Antalya.
