The Shura council in Egypt and the Turkish Parliament approved an agreement to activate a technical cooperation.

After the approval of the agreement, Egypt's Local Development Minister Ali Beshir said, "The Turkish government proved the seriousness of cooperation with Egypt. A delegation from Turkey will visit Egypt to clear the details of the agreement next week."

An agreement about technical cooperation between Turkey and Egypt was signed by both sides in November 2012.

The agreement includes "Training and consultancy services ensuring the flow of information and experience, plan and project support, humanitarian assistance in case of emergency and economic support " between two countries.
