Turkey and Burundi signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on aviation.
Ministry of Transportation Civil Aviation General Directorate released a statement on Monday and said that with the MoU, the number of countries which Turkey signed aviation agreement increased to 115.
The statement said the parties reached an agreement following the talks carried out on August 10 and 11, 2011 in Ankara.
The parties initialed Air Transportation Agreement and signed the MoU.
The deal enables organization of 7 frequency passenger and 7 frequency cargo services from the points in Turkey to Bujumbura for Turkish carriers, and from the points in Burundi to Istanbul for carriers of Burundi in a week.
