Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Turkey strongly supported Arab League Secretary General's proposal on establishment of a regional dialogue mechanism, officials said on Saturday

The Arab League chief also proposed creating a regional grouping that would bring together Arab states and Turkey.

Anadolu news agency said, Premier Erdogan had a meeting with Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa within the scope of the Arab League Summit in Sirte, Libya. Erdogan said in the meeting that Turkey fully supported Moussa's proposal on establishment of a regional dialogue mechanism, would get involved in the efforts for creation of such a mechanism and would do what it could on the matter.
