Corendon Airlines, a Turkey-based low-cost air carrier, is set to launch more flights from Europe to Turkey, company director has said.
The airlines will start next year scheduled flights from Amsterdam and Rotterdam to Turkey's Istanbul and the southern resort city of Antalya as well as direct flights from Brussels to Trabzon and Malatya in June-September period, Yildiray Karaer told the Anadolu Agency on Tuesday.
Karaer said their charter flights proved very successful last year on the destinations of Brussels-Eskisehir, Lyon-Eskisehir, Amsterdam-Sivas and Amsterdam-Elazig, adding that the Corendon carried passengers to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus from the Netherlands and Belgium as well.
Karaer said the airlines also planned to launch flights to Britain and Kazakhstan and flights from Istanbul to Iran, Sudan and Abu Dhabi next year.
