Turkish Foreign Ministry spokesman Levent Gumrukcu has denied the news that Turkish and British forces held a joint operation against the Al Shabaab in Somalia.

Gumrukcu said upon AA’s question on the news that Turkish and British forces targeted Al Shabaab in southern town of Berave in Somalia that such operation did not exist, emphasizing that regarding news on media were false and no Turkish soldiers were wounded as claimed either.
