Turkey and Kuwait have signed a number of agreements to boost cooperation.
Turkey’s President Abdullah Gul paid a visit to Kuwait on Tuesday. Gul met Emir of Kuwait, Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
After a meeting held closed to press between the two leaders, cooperation agreements on military training, press and information, commercial sea transport and archival storage were signed by relevant ministers of the two countries.
President Gul also met with Kuwaiti Prime Minister, Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, as well as Kuwait’s parliament speaker, deputy prime minister and foreign minister.
Turkey's deputy prime minister and ministers of economy, finance and national defense accompanied President Gul on his visit.
