Turkish Minister of National Education Omer Dincer and Libyan Eduction Minister Sulayman Ali al-Sahili signed an educational cooperation protocol on Tuesday.

Turkish Minister Dincer highlighted that they were going through a fast and intensive transformation period and said that between both countries the share of experience and information had such importance.

Dincer stated that by signing a protocol, there will be cooperation in education between Turkey and Libya.

Libyan minister stressed that they were pleased to see the quality of Turkish education on site and mentioned that they were informed about the FATIH project which made them think that the project is a transformation point.

Al-Sahili said that they find the protocol between the two countries important as they said they believe it will develop the education system.

The project of Movement to Increase Opportunities and Technology (FATIH), which seeks to integrate computer technology into Turkey's public education system, tablet PCs and smart boards were delivered to several schools across Turkey.
