Turkish consul in Libya's Benghazi Ali Sait Akin has offered to help upgrade some of the services provided by a local NGO for people with mental disabilities in the city.

"The Turkish diplomat has offered contribution to improving our services and launching joint service programs," Mohamed al-Warfali, the head of the Friends of the Disabled Association, told Anadolu Agency.

The offer came during a meeting with the diplomat at the Turkish consulate, he added.
