Turkish Education Minister Omer Dincer on Thursday proceeded to Kosovo after concluding his talks in Macedonia.
As part of his visit to Kosovo, Dincer visited the Turkish Yunus Emre Institute in Prizren and met with Turkish students and instructors of the school.
Dincer said Turkey planned to open state schools in Kosovo and in other countries in the Balkans, adding that his country was eager to improve cooperation between education ministries of the two countries.
Dincer later visited the headquarters of the Kosovo Democratic Turkish Party.
