Turkish F-16 jets were "intercepted" four times by Greek warplanes on Monday while they were on a training mission in international air space over the Aegean Sea.

The Turkish General Staff said on Wednesday F-16 and M-2000 jets of Greece which took off from N. Ankhialos, Limni and Skyros bases were involved in the interception of Turkish fighter jets four times in the western and northwestern parts over the Lesbos Island.
