Nearly 7.5 tons of emergency medical aid, sent by Turkey to violence-hit Kyrgyzstan, has been delivered to Kyrgyz officials on Tuesday.
The medical aid, brought to country by a Turkish military cargo plane, will be used for treatment of Kyrgyz people who were wounded in riots erupted in the country in April and June.
More than 500 people were killed and thousands were wounded in the uprising which led to ousting of President Kurmanbek Bakiyev.
A Turkish diplomat in Kyrgyzstan said that Turkey will continue to send assistance to Kyrgyz people, whom he described as friends, brothers and sisters.
