Turkish premier has urged Balkan countries to respect each other's territorial integrity for peace to prevail in the region.
"Respect for territorial integrity is of vital importance in the Balkans for regional peace and stability," Recep Tayyip Erdogan told a Turkish-Bosnian business forum in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Erdogan said a resolution of apology last week by the Serbian parliament for 1995's civilian massacre in Srebrenica was an important step for stability, adding that it affirmed Serbia had accepted Bosnia's territorial integrity.
"It is time for Bosnian and Serbian leaders to take courageous and responsible steps to overcome traumatic tragedies of the past. We welcome the Serbian parliament's resolution as a positive step for the future," Erdogan said.
